I work at CUbiC, the Center for Ubiquitous Computing at ASU. We are developing applications and devices for individuals who are blind. I personally am in charge of developing the iCare BookReader. This device will allow individuals who are blind to have print material read to them. The interface is intuitive and accessible. The process is much faster than using a scanner and our BookReader is quite feature rich. On a personal note, I love coding especially in .Net and C#.
Outlook Calendar Reorganized
The University of Maryland and MS Research have worked on creating a new type of HCI view in Outlook Calendar so that its much easier to visualize the whole experience of using calendars.

Oulook looks like this. Highly recommend the video because you don't get a good view of how this works. The video is really cool because it shows how this works.

I downloaded the little extension app and it's pretty darn cool. Only problem is that it keep crashing on me. :( It might be that I have multiple accounts that I check with outlook though.
I need to submit a bug report. :)
