I work at CUbiC, the Center for Ubiquitous Computing at ASU. We are developing applications and devices for individuals who are blind. I personally am in charge of developing the iCare BookReader. This device will allow individuals who are blind to have print material read to them. The interface is intuitive and accessible. The process is much faster than using a scanner and our BookReader is quite feature rich. On a personal note, I love coding especially in .Net and C#.
My blog is about coding in .Net and about my interests in general. I love to read, esp Discworld novels by Terry Prattchet. I will post items about work, school, cool stuff and ideas for projects I have. If your ever interested in any of them, let me know as I would love to work on some of them.

German innovation does it again!!!
I just bought a new headset. Sennheiser HD 280 Silver Apparently, Sennheiser makes the best brand of headphones that you can buy. This is one item I am waiting intently for. I'm told that the sound quality is excellent. The headphones are a closed system and have a 3m long wire. A friend I work with has the HD 570 and they seems to work great. I wanted to get the leather variety because they remind me of the type my dad used to own. Boy those were good headsets. Wish I could get those but too bad he is too far for me to get. I'm sure he would gladly have given them to me had I asked..but I like spending 100 dollars on thing I buy. :-)
